It all started with Molly.

Our golden retriever Molly is many things, goofy, lovable, and absolutely just as deserving of beautiful things as any dog. But finding accessories that actually reflected that? That was a different story.

Everything we found was made for little dogs. The bandanas were flimsy, a single layer of nylon, not double-sided, and basically done after one wash. We were spending a fortune on things that fell apart, and Molly deserved better.

So we made her one.

Sewing has always been therapeutic for us, and once we stitched Molly her first proper bandana, double-sided, washable, dryer-friendly, and good as new with a quick iron, we never looked back. Then came a matching bow for her birthday, and that was the moment it all clicked.

The pink petals photo you might have seen? That's the exact photo that started everything. That's Molly. That's the spark.

We prefer to "tie" our bandanas, they grow with the pup! So they have lovely long "tails" as we call them and we shaped them so they lie cute as a button around their fluffy necks!

Nothing goes to waste.

Once we started, we had spare fabric, and we hate waste. A friend had a baby, so we made a Snuggle Set with matching bandanas for her cat and dog. And just like that, a second idea was born.

Every piece in our first range has been made with intention. We've used every scrap of fabric. Not a single offcut has been thrown away.

Snouts and Stitch exists because big dogs deserve beautiful things too,  and because the best ideas come from the dogs we love most.
